Jerry was a good friend that lived bear me. He was a good person, but he didn't make friends with a lot of people. In the summer of 1966 Jerry and I were volunteers on a 20-25 team of folks from all over the valley trying to restore the Saltair Pavilion dance floor, fun house. dodgem/bumper car amusement ride, etc. The fun house was almost restored, the bumper cars maybe halfway that summer. Jerry had a black 1957 Ford Skyliner that with the hard top down in the trunk we always took it to the "beach". There was a cafe/bar on 80 about halway between the airport and the lake that we ate at. But there is no trace of it on the map now. I never saw him after graduation before I moved to California for boot camp. And did not know that he had passed away until I joined this site. I tried to skip trace him a few years ago. I'm good at it, but II never found anything after graduation, probably because it was about 50 years later. RIP Jerry.
